As I've always told my kids in the car rider line, since they were in Pre-K,
"be kind, make someone smile and show grace."
As an advocate for non-education majors becoming a teacher that kids will remember for a lifetime, becoming a cheerleader for the "unpopular kid" is in my blood and what I will always stand by.
Showing grace is doing the right thing when you think no one is watching... it's rooting for the underdog when no one else is, because you just have that "feeling"... it's seeing something in someone that no one else sees, even if they don't see it in themselves.
As a self-taught instructional designer, I pride myself with gathering, organizing and delivering content to my audience in order to elicit learning and the highest performance outcomes…

I am a natural creative with an analytical approach to all things in life!
As a business major with a passion for professional learning, I have built my career in the public education sector. The past 15 years have been spent advocating for non-education majors becoming certified teachers. I have been blessed to work alongside some of what I consider the most influential educators, which provided me the opportunity to learn the various learning types and intertwine my passion to design professional learning while applying the principles of instructional design.
I have always been eager to learn more and take every opportunity to take part in professional growth opportunitiesto become more knowledgeable. I consider myself innovative, extremely organized, and work well under pressure. My people skills, outgoing persona and ability to creatively collaborate would allow me to make a significant contribution to any team with high integrity and strong moral compass!
